Info Lakhta Center in St Petersburg Russia

Hello Davide and Anastasia:

Is Lakhta Center open to the public? All I could find out is that it was completed in 2018, but there was no information about the actual opening, or if it's possible to visit the top of the tower.

Thanks in advance. I'll be arriving in St. Petersburg on Friday.

Dear Bill,

Thank you for posting your message on our website and thank you for your compliments.

For your information, the construction of the 462-meter Lakhta Center skyscraper in St. Petersburg has not yet completed.

Located in northern St. Petersburg, the 87-story building is expected to become the headquarters of Russia’s Gazprom gas giant, along with its oil subsidiary, Gazprom Neft.

However, the construction of the building outside has been completed but inside there is still work to be done as far as we know.

For this reason you cannot visit yet the Europe's Tallest Building as you would like. Officially speaking there is been no update or any information given from the local authorities on when the building will be open to the public.

For now, people can admire the building only from the outside.
