Having personally frequented this wonderful restaurant with guests and colleagues, we're delighted to highlight St Petersburg's remarkably distinct Russian Vodka Room №1 and its famous Museum of Russian Vodka situated next to the restaurant.
Russian Vodka Room Restaurant is where the past meets the present, as only here you can experience traditional customs and fine dining while viewing 215 varieties of Russian vodka on exhibit in spacious rooms graced with décor from bygone eras dating as far back as 19th Century Russia.
Located on scenic Konnogvardeysky Boulevard in the heart of St. Petersburg, a really attractive surrounding area, this sensational Russian restaurant has been a member of the International Association of Gastronomy (Chaine de Rotisseurs) since 2009.
Honored with a Certificate of Excellence in 2014 and given the first independent restaurant award in "Where to Eat" by industry professionals, there's little doubt that you will enjoy an exemplary journey into the deepest traditions of Russian history, hospitality and generosity!
THE EXPERIENCE
The pre-revolutionary kitchen and classic cooking methods further elevate the authenticity of this unique establishment, with dishes such as roasted suckling pig, buckwheat with mushrooms and beets for Borscht simmering for hours to capture the rich, savory flavors of time-honored Russian food.
After a memorable lunch, you can tour the Russian Vodka Museum with a guide, hear stories of the legendary vodkas on display, and enjoy samples of fine vodka with crunchy pickles, tasty sauerkraut and other delicious Russian snacks!
Antique dinnerware and glassware set the stage for exquisite fare from an impressive menu of starters, soups, salads, mains, sides and desserts which are prepared in observance of Russian culinary expertise, both past and present.
Selections of Chicken Kiev, Borscht, Beef Stroganoff (My favorite) and Kulabyaka, along with an outstanding waitstaff, live folk music and the enchanting nostalgic atmosphere will capture your heart and sweep you into the magic and majesty of old-world Russia!

OUR FAVORITE DISHES: Roast Beef Stroganoff, Salad Olivier, chicken Kiev with mashed potatoes, koriushka, pelmeni and a shot of vodka at the end.
OUTSTANDING POINTS: A few minutes walking distance from St Isaac’s Cathedral, Alexander Garden, Bronze Horseman (the statue of Peter the Great), the Neva River, Yusupov Palace, Palace Square and the Hermitage. Not far from Mariinskiy Theatre.
